We built pinhole cameras today! Pictured, students had to calculate the optimal pinhole diameter, find a pin approximately that diameter, and punch a hole in a piece of aluminum. Nearly none of the students had ever used calipers before.

Also, a kid drew a robot on his classwork:

  1. How fun! Images please! We have a bunch of calipers with the vernier scale on them and it always takes a while to teach them how to read it. I usually randomly put it at mark and pass it around to see what people say it is.

Do you take points off for the robot image not being correct (the feet should point to the right)?
