Day 37: Building a Mirror Maze

2013-10-04 10.45.50Some of my kids got started on the mirror maze portion of their Mirror Lab. The goal: use a protractor and a minimum of 3 mirrors to pass a beam of light through a starting point to an ending point.

After they place everything, I bring over my laser level and test their work. If they miss the end dot (about 1 cm wide), they have to find their error and fix it.

Don’t tell the kids, but this leads them to their flat mirror quiz, a mirror maze, complete with obstacles to navigate a light beam around.
